LEE Zircon for LED Diffusion Lighting Gel Pack. Zircon Filters have been specifically designed to fine-tune the inconsistencies often associated with LED lighting. The Zircon diffusion filters in this pack will soften and smooth LED output and can be placed on panels or in channels to gently blur visible pixels on LEDs.

Why Zircon LED Filters

Our Zircon Colour Effect Filters have been specifically designed to deliver bright, consistent colour while addressing the performance challenges commonly associated with LED lighting.

Although LED fixtures offer many advantages, their high output levels can significantly reduce the lifespan of standard lighting filters. To overcome this, the LEE Filters Research & Development team developed a specialised production process to ensure Zircon filters last longer when used with LED sources.

Zircon filters are not only longer‑lasting than conventional colour filters, they are also stronger and easier to handle. Manufactured using a 180‑micron material, they are more than double the thickness of a standard lighting filter, providing enhanced durability and reliability in demanding environments.
