LEE Filters has expanded its Zircon LED range with six new Colour Effect Filters — adding bold, saturated colour to a range built specifically for LED lighting.

Traditional gels fade out under LED light, whilst these Zircon filters retain their vibrancy up to 200 times longer than standard filters.
We’ve added six bright new colours to the Zircon range. Each filter delivers a consistent, saturated colour across a wide range of LED fixtures:

Zircon lighting filters are designed to withstand the heat and intensity of LED lighting (which shortens the life of standard colour gel filters).
Zircon is manufactured differently with an 180-micron material that’s twice the thickness of a standard filter. Engineered to last longer and hold its performance in front of LED sources – they retain at least 80% of their effectiveness after as much as eight months of continuous use on all LED light sources.
Alongside the new colours, the range fine-tunes white LED light through four functions:
Warm — warm up cool, clinical LEDs toward tungsten
Cool — cool warm white LEDs toward a cleaner, daylight-balanced white
Correction — remove the green casts some LEDs produce
Diffusion — soften hot spots and multiple shadows
The new saturated colours allow you to shape, colour and fine-tune LED light. Whether lighting a stage, studio, venue or architectural installation, Zircon provides the control, consistency and reliability needed to achieve beautifully balanced, professional lighting.
